Bringing Ideas to Life: Making the Prototype

After brainstorming and planning, it was time to turn our ideas into reality. The prototype phase was all about hands-on creation and iteration.

It was kicked off by prototyping characters in class using LEGO. This exercise was not only fun but also incredibly useful for visualising our ideas and refining them on the spot. Seeing our characters take shape physically helped us think through their roles and how they would interact within the learning modules.

Here are some images of our team members hard at work with LEGO, bringing our characters to life:

As we moved forward, we went through several iterations of the characters. Each version brought us closer to the final designs, making sure they were engaging and relatable for our target audience. Below, you can see the evolution of our characters through these iterations:

In parallel, our web designers were busy developing the interactive learning modules. They created detailed screens and interfaces to make the educational content as engaging and user-friendly as possible. Here are some screenshots of the files and designs from this process:

Meanwhile, our music students were working on crafting the song. Although I wasn’t directly involved in this part of the project, I provided my thoughts afterwards. The result was fantastic – the song was catchy and effectively incorporated all the key elements from our learning modules.
